West Ham are set to make a move for Fulham midfielder Steve Sidwell who’s contract is due to expire following Fulhams relegation from the Premier League.

Sidwell, 31, was the subject of a bid back in 2011 when he was playing for Aston Villa, but he opted to join Fulham.

Attracting players at this stage of the summer may prove tricky for West Ham considering the uncertainty of manager Sam Allardyce’s future as boss. Next Friday the board will make a decision on whether to stick with Sam or not.
