Leyton Orient owner Barry Hearn has finally ended his 3 year battle with West Ham and the LLDC, and conceded that his battle to overthrow the decision to award West Ham the Olympic Stadium tenancy is over.

West Ham are set to move into the stadium in 2 years time, however Hearn has repeatedly claimed that the bidding process was flawed, and that Leyton Orient would be triumphant in being granted shared tenancy.

Today however Hearn has ended his battle, with many feeling this is mainly due to his impending sale of the club. Hearn stated on Twitter: ‘No point carrying on now we have permission to talk to new operators re a deal if we want to”.
