Eto’o & Almeida on Irons radar

West Ham are set to make a move for free agent Samuel Eto’o according to the Daily Mirror this morning.

What with Andy Carroll sustaining a long term injury last week, West Ham are now very much in the hunt for a new striker, with David Sullivan suggesting that two strikers may be purchased before season kick off.

Portugal striker Hugo Almeida, who is also currently a free agent, is widely tipped to be offered a deal at Upton Park. According to well placed sources a deal will be offered in the next 48 hours, with the club desperate to boost the morale amongst supporters who have seen the club in the headlines this week for all the wrong reasons.

    1. Good question. I wonder when they will give Elliot Lee a shot at this level? I’m seriously starting to despise the Allardyce regime. Time for change

      1. I agree lee should be given a chance, but I have the feeling that Sam killed the kids confidence when he played many of them last season in FA cup against forrest.
