Sam Allardyce has confirmed that Winston Reid is to leave West Ham.
The New Zealand international has widely been expected to depart due to the contract standoff that has been going on for months, and Allardyce has confirmed that Reid has no future in East London.
“He has no future at this club. I’ve been in the game long enough to know that he’s leaving at the end of the season. (It’s) highly unlikely that he’ll stay” said Allardyce.
The club have already acquired the services of Doneil Henry this month, and have identified Lewis Dunk of Brighton as Reids immediate replacement.
