Mauro Zarate has completed his six month loan deal to QPR, and is expected to feature in their next game against Burnley on Saturday.
The Argentinian forward, who signed for West Ham this summer, has struggled to hold down a first team place this season – mainly due to the excellent form shown by Diafra Sakho and Enner Valencia.
With his options limited the striker has become a frustrated figure in East London, and Sam Allardyce has publicly questioned the players attitude and ability at this level.
So the writing was on the wall, and now Zarate heads West to link up with Harry Redknapps men who are gearing themselves up for a relegation battle that is likely to go to the wire.
Has Zarate played his last game for West Ham? Possibly. There is no doubt though that Allardyce will be keeping a close eye on how he gets on under Redknapp.
