A game of two halves

West Ham 3-0 Hull City

West Ham produced a second half performance to be remembered after decimating Hull City at Upton Park to move up to seventh in the league, sitting now on a healthy 36 points.

It was a game that produced a rather subdued and tired display from the Irons, most likely a relation to our excellent win over Everton in midweek.

But the second half saw goals from Andy Carroll, Morgan Amalfitano and Stewart Downing that saw off Hull comfortably in the end, and produced a much needed win to put West Ham right back in the mix of the leagues elite.
