Blackburn Rovers striker Rudy Gestede is set to be the subject of a bid from West Ham according to reports this morning.
The prolific Benin international, who is also being chased by a number of Premier League rivals, is keen on a move to London putting West Ham firmly in the driving seat.
Gestede has scored 19 goals for Blackburn Rovers this season, however it was not enough as they missed out on a playoff spot – and the Lancashire club are very aware that keeping Gestede is highly unlikely.
With David Sullivan stating a few weeks ago that big money will be spent this summer on improving our squad, West Ham have already seen themselves linked with various strikers.
A deal is set to be in place to bring Andre-Pierre Gignac to East London this summer, and Javier Hernandez is also on the radar.
