Stuart Pearce has given his seal of approval on the appointment of new Hammers manager Slaven Bilic.
Bilic has signed a 3 year contract, replacing Sam Allardyce who’s contract was not renewed – and Pearce has high hopes for the future under the Croatian.
“He’s a fantastic coach and manager with a top CV. West Ham is a wonderful club that should always be looking to push forward,’‘ said Pearce.
Reflecting on Sam Allardyce, Pearce did have sympathy for the former Bolton boss. “Big Sam was very unfortunate not to have his contract renewed – or maybe he didn’t want his contract renewed”.
Bilic will kick off his Premier League campaign with a rather daunting trip to London neighbours Arsenal.
