Cresswell signs new deal

Hammer of the Year Aaron Cresswell has signed a new deal with West Ham after putting pen to paper on a new and improved five year contract, with the option of a further two years – keeping him at the club until 2022.

Cresswell had an outstanding first season in East London, and was an instant fan favourite seeing him pick up the Hammer of the Year award – and his hard work has been rewarded with a bumper new deal.

There had been rumours that Cresswell was being sought after by some of the bigger clubs in this country and across Europe, and West Ham have moved quickly to send a message to the football world that the days of West Ham being a selling club are long gone.

Cresswell signing a new deal is once again a sign of intent, and it’s great news for all connected to the club.
