In an exclusive interview with RUGRID, West Ham Ladies captain Stacey Little has spoken of her sadness and pride that Julian Dicks has joined Slaven Bilics coaching team – therefore leaving his post as West Ham Ladies manager.
Dicks was a very popular figure with the Ladies team, and not to mention Little, who played as Julian’s captain last season which saw the Irons reach the FA Capital Women’s Cup Final – sadly losing to Charlton Athletic.
When asked of her thoughts on Julian departing the Ladies team, Little responded: ”Of course I’m gutted that Julian has left us Ladies but I’m sure it’s a dream come true for him to be back at West Ham as a coach with one of his mates.”
Little is confident that both Julian and new manager Slaven Bilic will be a success working together once again, in what will next season be our final at the Boleyn Ground.
”They know what West Ham is about and what the fans want and expect from the team so i’m sure they will be very successful.
”It’s clear for everyone to see that they have a very good relationship and that can only be a good thing.
”I wish Julian all the best for the future and thank him for his commitment and passion he showed towards us last season”
