Irons to move for Austin

The speculation surrounding Charlie Austins future has increased dramatically over the last 24 hours following the rejection of a £12m bid from Leicester City by QPR for the England striker.

Austin is highly sought after, and now adding the fact that Chelsea have point blank refused to entertain any offers for their own Loic Remy – a target for West Ham, the Irons board look set to up their pursuit of Austin.

New first team coach Julian Dicks this week supported a move for Austin, stating that his consistency is something that puts him above the likes of Remy in the transfer market.

Reports have suggested that Austib favours to remain in London, and although Chelsea are rumoured to be among his suitors, West Ham is looking his most likely destination at this point.

It is widely expected that West Ham will make a formal approach for the QPR striker within the next 3 days.
