It’s always been West Ham

Boss Slaven Bilic has spoken of his love for West Ham, stating that ever since he joined back in 1996 he has been a fan, and followed the club ever since.

Bilic has been a breath of fresh air since taking over from the rather unpopular Sam Allardyce in the summer, and the fans have already taken the Croatian to their hearts, and the feel about the club is evident that we’re all behind the new gaffer.

The new boss was talking to the clubs official website and stated: “Once you play for West Ham, or once you are connected with West Ham, it stays with you for life. I missed it during my time away from this club because it is a special club, a cult club, but what really makes West Ham special is the fans.”

This weekend we head into a rather tough looking away fixture with high-flying Crystal Palace, with Alan Pardews side looking one to keep a serious eye on this season. We however will go there with confidence.

We’re still unbeaten on the road this term, and our goal record so far suggests they will have to score 2 or more to claim the points.
